United Indian Health Services Bldgs 10, 11, & 12 Twelve independant buildings provide nutritional, pharmaceutical, medical procedures, vision, child welfare, mental heath, dental, administrative, tribal and cultural, and community services. The buildings share a common hallway/waiting area (The Elders Walk), that surrounds the central 11,000 sq. ft. "Wellness Garden". The garden is landscaped to reflect the naturally wooded forests of the region. Local trees, shrubs, snaggs and ferns are incorporated as well as a stream and waterfall to provide a healing environment crucial to well-being. |
